Scholarships for Global Professionals at the Swedish Institute (SI). The Swedish Institute (SI) is offering professional globally a Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP), a new scholarship programme which replaces Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS). Scholarships for Global Professionals is a scholarship offered to a large number of Master’s program beginning in the autumn semester of 2019.

Course of study: about 650 eligible master programmes for the academic year 2019-2020 that are available at the universities.

Scholarship estimation and inclusion
The scholarship comprises of tuition fees, living expenses of about SEK 10,000 per month, insurance, and just one travel grant of SEK 15,000 (only for scholarship recipients living outside Sweden). No additional grants for scholars with family members.
The scholarship is planned for one-year or two-year full-time master’s programmes and is only granted for programmes starting in the autumn semester. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year (two semesters) at a time. It will be extended for a student whose program is longer than two semesters, given that the student has passed his/her courses/credits a good academic performance.
To be eligible for a scholarship for Global Professionals, the applicant must have had at least 3,000 hours’ work experience prior to 3rd of February 2019 from a maximum of three companies. Applicants must be from an eligible country stated above. Applicants must be able to demonstrate his/her previous leadership experience.
The experience may be shown through previous work experience or participation in civil society organisations.
Applicants must be answerable to pay tuition fees to the universities, and must have paid the application fee for master’s programmes at University Admissions team on time before 1st of February 2019, and must have been admitted for one of the eligible master’s programmes by 4th of April 2019.
Start by applying for a master’s programme at universityadmissions.se scheduled for 16 October 2018 – 15 January 2019.
Afterwards, apply for an SI scholarship scheduled for 4-14 February 2019.
