Scholars Research Award in USA, 2019 – American College of Sports Medicine. American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) is now offering interested candidate application for the Charles M. Tipton Scholars Research Awards. The awards will be given to the scholar with the most exceptional research project of the year.
Scholars Research Award in the USA
The Charles M. Tipton Scholars Research award is available to the scholars who are presently registered or taken into a professional or graduate program in the capacities of clinical or basic exercise science or sports medicine at a recognized university.
ACSM only is the organization that offers a total view of the profession In lieu of 70 occupations within the sports medicine discipline.
It improves and incorporates scientific research to provide theoretical and practical applications of fitness science and sports medicine.

Program Level: The scholarship allows scholars to pursue a graduate or professional program
Course of Study: The scholarship will be awarded in the field of basic or clinical exercise science or sports medicine.
Scholarship grants: The award winners will be given a complimentary enrollment to ACSM’s Yearly Meeting, free hotel accommodations for three, meals for four days which worth up to $55 per day, the lowest available advance round-trip airfare from your home city to Orlando, FL.
The winner will be invited to attend the ACSM Annual Awards Banquet scheduled for May 30, 2019, so that they can be acknowledged for getting the award.
There will be provision for two complimentary tickets to the banquet.

The following requirements must be met by applicants:
To be eligible, you must be a citizen of the United States of America.
When applying, applicants must be presently registered or admitted into a professional or graduate program in the field of basic or clinical exercise science or sports medicine at any recognized accredited university.
Applicants may also have finished such a program not more than a year before the application date of this award. And in such case, only accomplished work earlier before graduation should be submitted.
The applicant must be the original writer of the abstract submitted and shall accept free communication presentation at the 2019 ACSM Annual Meeting.
The abstract must be concise and unique research in exercise science and should include the following:
1) Statement of the problem
3) Results and conclusions.
The research work reported in the abstract must have been completed for academic degree award such as M.S., Ph.D., M.D., etc.
The applicant should also provide a recommendation letter from the student’s project supervisor, the letter should be submitted with the application.
The applicant must be a member of the American College of Sports Medicine.
Applicants should ensure he/she submit a complete form of his or her application.
Applicants should submit a Copy of abstract for the Annual Meeting
Applicants should submit a well-written letter of recommendation
An expanded abstract, not more than five pages that include text, graphs, images, tables and/or charts but not including references.
The quick report must be double spaced and not less than 5-inch margins.
All should be submitted in a PDF format.
