Rotary Peace Fellowship 2019:
Annually, about a hundred individuals from all over the world are offered scholarship by Rotary to undertake a Professional Development Certificate Program or Masters Degree Program in relation to peace and conflict prevention and resolution.
This is done at one of the accredited peace centres around the globe (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Thailand).

Please Note: Recipient of this award may not study at a Rotary Peace Center located in their home country, except for candidates who are from Thailand, who may attend the centre at Chulalongkorn University.
The course of study:
Scholars are expected to undertake a Professional Development Certificate Program or Masters Degree Program in a peace and conflict resolution and prevention related field.
Targeted group:
Rotary International Fellowship Award is particularly for anyone endorsed by their local Rotary District committee.
Available number of Scholarships:
About 50 fellowships for masters degree are available and 50 for certificate studies are offered each year.
Rotary International Fellowship Scholarship
Rotary International Fellowship Award cover tuition fees, room and board, airfare, and all internship and field-study expenses.
How to be eligible:
The Rotary Peace Fellowship is made for scholars who are professionals and have hands-on experience in international relations or peace and conflict prevention and resolution or other similar fields.
Applicants must also meet the following criteria:
Applicant must be Proficient in English; proficiency in a second language is vehemently recommended
Applicant must exhibit a convincing desire to international understanding and peace through professional and academic achievements and personal or community service
- Applicant must possess excellent leadership skills
For Masters degree applicants, a minimum of three years of related full-time work or volunteer experience or bachelors degree is required
For Certificate applicants, a minimum of five years of related full-time work or volunteer experience with good academic performance is required.

Application guidelines:
The official deadline date for interested candidates to submit applications to their respective Rotary district is 31st of May. Districts must have endorsed and applications to The Rotary Foundation by 1st of July.
