In 2017, the Elisabeth Strouven added a third project which assists nature conservation as well as nature development projects.

Description of the Elisabeth Strouven Scholarships

Course Level: Scholarship enables you to enrol for a Master’s Degree program.
Study Subject: Students are awarded the Elisabeth Strouven Scholarships to enable them to study Global Health.
Award of Scholarship: There is a support of €30,000 scholarship that helps students in offsetting the costs of visas and insurance, tuition costs and living costs.
The €30,000 scholarship is a contribution towards your costs of living, the costs of tuition fees, visas and insurance for a maximum period of 13 months.

Nationality: Elisabeth Strouven Scholarships is available for Africa or Asia citizens. South America, Netherlands.
Scholarship can be obtained in Holland.

Qualified Countries: Netherlands citizens are entitled to this scholarship.
Admission Prerequisite:
Gifted young students who are registered for Master in Global Health at the Maastricht University are eligible for The Elisabeth Strouven scholarship. Aspiring candidates are expected to hold a passport from a developing country like Africa or Asia, South America and match the requirements to get a Dutch visa (MVV residence permit).
Female candidates who have a background in healthcare policy, healthcare sciences chronic care and innovation can apply for the scholarship.
English Language Prerequisite: Students whose first language is not English are normally expected to show proof that they are proficient in English at a level that the University requires.
